First Monday

Happy new beginning to you!

Not even twenty-four hours ago I returned home from my winter escape & when I look through the Blog I have the feeling it is becoming a reoccurring  theme. That around the colder months I hop in a car and leave. Leave towards the south where the light is filling me to the greatest delight. In a very lovely and southerny way I got to spent Christmas and New years in the warmest south of Spain. Comfortably tucked away in the historic city center of Valencia. This past summer I was working almost each weekend which was a gift greater than I had myself allowed to dream. Therefore the only a short trip I took was to Roma. Of course ;) And now the winter break called for a vacation with a good dose of rest & quietness. Those are the ups of a wedding photographer ;) And as I love the south I wanted to go and breath the air again. Every time I go I feel how much I missed it. The southern charm, the ocean´s blue, the people singing, the sun unstoppable beaming its brightest cold winter light. 

I enjoyed the slow rhythm and turned off phone. But then after a couple of days it always sets in again... to browse online. As I was reading over on Mary´s Blog she asked what our word for 2015 would be. My first thought was that one word is so uhm... little. But then I gave it another thought and the word go entered my head. I think this year for me will be filled with a lot of go. Maybe I giving it one distinct word is so hard for me because it still scares me... 

but in 2015 I will go ahead and finish my degree.

I will go and throw a heck of a goodbye party (or two... or three)

I will go and move to Stuttgart.

I will go and work with Jan, as in full time, as...  for real, friends!

This has been in the making and dreaming for years and now that the next step is on the plan it feels like I am still not quite ready yet. 

So then, after I have handed in my thesis I will have to persuade myself that I am ready for the next step (and maybe break it down to little ones) and just go.
